GET SOME HELP WITH HEALTHY EATING
It's easy to get confused when it comes to healthy eating
The more access we have to nutritional information, the more questions there seem to be that need answering. What is the glycemic index? Are chocolate and red wine really good for you? Should you eat carbs at night?
All of the CRUNCHTIME crew are great at nutrition basics. We take the bamboozle factor out of the information overload with sensible, down to earth answers to all your healthy eating questions. Our passion is to improve the quality of your fitness and overall wellbeing. So we know that what goes into your body makes or breaks what you get out of it.
| The Healthy Eating Pyramid
You’ve probably heard of the Healthy Eating Pyramid. It was launched by The Australian Nutrition Foundation in 1982 and is updated regularly. It is designed as an overall guide to the types of foods that benefit health and wellbeing and is divided into 3 categories: foods to eat lots of, foods to eat in moderation & foods to eat with discretion.
Important factors such as body type, lifestyle, pre-existing conditions and family history are key in designing nutrition regimes that are right for you as an individual.
